WELCOME TO ROBERTS COVE BASIN

Charles E. Roberts conceived and built this marina so that working people could enjoy the lake he loved.

Roberts Cove Basin was built on Lake Winnipesauke by Charles E. Roberts, a retired NH farmer, in the 1960’s as a family-owned operation for the purpose of renting boat slips, selling boat gas and providing a launch ramp. The business was incorporated in the 1960’s and is now seeing Charlie’s grandchildren and great-grandchildren running the pumps. Little has changed since the 70's, although we have updated the pumps and gasoline delivery system and added a soda fridge.

We continue to follow the vision of Charles Roberts to create a casual, friendly, family atmosphere.

There are approximately 80 boat slips and many people stay over on their boats during the season. Since there is little turnover in seasonal dock rental, the people get to know each other and have spaghetti feeds, chowder feasts, and other happenings during the summer.

As a family-owned operation we take turns tending the docks and gas pump, so you may be greeted by any one of Charlie Roberts’ grandchildren, great-grandchildren or great-great-grandchildren!

What People Are Saying

This place is a reminder of what Lake Winnipesaukee was like 70 years ago.
I hope it never changes.

The most capable and friendly staff on Lake Winni. Stayed at Cove's End and loved it! Will be back next year!

These folks are great, super helpful and very nice, we had a wee bit of trouble backing the trailer up, and they were right on top of it. Highly recommend it.
